I've just spent another 5 weeks in the Marshall Islands. This trip was an incredible one. I wish I could relate in words what I had the opportunity to see and do, but I don't think its possible.
I could tell you stories of boys so sold out for Jesus, they sleep on the concrete floor of the church all together, rising to bless the Lord in the morning, singing themselves happy when there is no food and their hungry, casting the devil out, and loving each other with a pure and holy love, and then on their knees before God in absolute adoration and love for Him.
I could tell you stories of families who have nothing, and are happier than the richest Americans I know.
I could tell you stories of missionaries and pastors who are pouring their heart and soul out for the soul cause of saving souls, and setting people free- without any cameras, any recognition, or much support.
I could tell you stories of believing God daily for water to drink and food to eat, and clothes to wear, and about how He has always come through, and never failed. And I could tell you about the joy that comes from knowing you can trust Him completely with all of those natural needs and live free of burdens of this world.
I could tell you stories of outer island services, underneath thatch overhangs and dirt floors, where the manifest presence of God comes down so strong that people cannot do anything but weep.
I could tell you stories.
Well, its on from today and onto tomorrow. Africa, where the eyes of my heart and the ears of my understanding were opened. I am thankful for your prayers, and thankful for the opportunities I have to go. My heart is so full.
Be blessed, and know that you are making a difference.
